Kris' work in the referral and placement industry started many years ago when she was a social worker in the Protective Services Division for the state of South Dakota. Foster care placements are very similar to what we do in the elder care industry. One must honor the individual by providing personalized service, matching the individual with competent care providers and a safe, nurturing environment. We partner with specialized consultants in the senior industry who have earned excellent reputations in their areas of expertise.
DSHS requires every individual who is admitted to an assisted living community or an adult family home to have an assessment that acts as the bridge between the medical community and the staff that will be providing care to the client/patient.
